Grants offered for student groups

Friendship Friends Meeting is once again offering grants totaling $500 to groups of college students in Guilford County to organize and work on peace and justice issues. Applications are due by Friday, September 22, 2023 and should be emailed to Anne Cassebaum at cassebaum@elon.edu. Questions may also be addressed there.

The grant aims to promote the peace and justice issues that are the focus of the work of the Friends Committee on National Legislation and American Friends Service Committee.

Student groups can be of any or no religious affiliation, so these websites are included to clarify the scope of topics the grant will support, not to limit or privilege certain groups participation. The grants are available to groups rather than individuals and the money is to be used to carry out the group’s project[s]. Students applying for the FFM grant must submit specific information about their planned project, its impacts, and its budget.
