Grants Offered for Student Groups

Friendship Friends Meeting is offering grants totaling $500 to one or more groups of college students in Guilford County to organize and work on peace and justice issues. Applications are due by Friday, September 23, 2022 and should be emailed to Anne Cassebaum at cassebaum@elon.edu. Questions may also be addressed there.

The grant aims to promote the work of the Friends Committee on National Legislation and American Friends Service Committee. Student groups can be of any or no religious affiliation, so these websites are included to clarify the scope of topics the grant is intended to support.

Students applying for the FFM grant must submit specific information about their planned project, its budget, and impacts. The grants are available to groups rather than individuals and the money is to be used to carry out the group’s project[s].
